Connect Vimeo to StreamWay

Can I stream to Vimeo? How do I connect Vimeo to StreamWay? Do I need to pay for it?

You can connect Vimeo via a Custom RTMP channel, so you would need a paid subscription for it.

1. Go to Vimeo.com, click New Video, select Create event, and click on Live broadcast. Follow the steps shown here to create an event on Vimeo.

2. On the event page, click on “Manage production” in the top right corner and select “Stream with an encoder”. Then, proceed to copy the RTMP URL and stream key that Vimeo will provide for your event.

3. On your StreamWay Dashboard, select “Add/Edit Destinations” and choose Custom RTMP.

​4. Paste the RTMP URL and Stream Key from Vimeo and press Add Channel.

Vimeo is now connected to StreamWay!
