Encrypt your Stream with RTMPS
Let’s take a look at how you can use extra security encryption by enabling RTMPS for your streams!
RTMP (Real-Time Messaging Protocol) is one of the most widely used streaming protocols, allowing the transmission of audio, video, and other data. RTMPS is a variation of the primary protocol, which incorporates an extra layer of security for your stream.
How to enable RTMPS
- Head to your Account settings and the “Streaming Setup” section.
- Toggle on “Encrypt your stream using RTMPS”.
- That’s it! Your RTMP URL will be converted into an RTMPS URL on every part of your account’s interface.
